Tishman was engaged by an institutional investor to enhance asset value for the 1,003-room convention hotel in preparation for a potential sale. The hotel has 115,000 square feet of flexible function space, including two ballrooms and 5,200 square feet of picturesque balcony space. The hotel is home to a rooftop outdoor heated lap pool and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. Tishman began with a complete LEAN review of the property, which was completed 120 days from engagement. Through the process, $2.2 million in savings were identified. The fund was able to sell the property 18 months after Tishman’s engagement with a significant increase in value.
